 Jan. 1946 - Mr. R.C. Carr founded “The Carolina School of Commerce”, located on E. Benson St. 
1951 - Mr. Charles M. Forrest purchased the school.
1954 - Moved it to 500 N. McDuffie St.
1963 - New facility,(Forrest College), was constructed at its present location, 601 E River St.
April 1985 - John Re, Ph.D., and Charles Palmer, Jr., M.Ed., purchased Forrest College
March 1989 - Changed its name to Forrest Junior College.
July 2010 – Changed name to Forrest College.
