I am proud to announce the appointment of Rebecca Stovall as our President here at FJC. Rebecca brings with her over twenty years of management experience in both the academic and private sector, as well as a passion for helping people succeed. We look forward to a long and productive relationship together and are happy to welcome Rebecca into the FJC family.

Being a part of the Anderson community again is like coming home for Rebecca Stovall, Forrest Junior College’s new President. Her charter will include the planning and directing in the administration of the College, facilities, academic programs, personnel, security, and information technology. Additionally, Rebecca will be coordinating the Business Administration Programs to broaden their current curriculum framework and enhance the development in these programs.
Rebecca has been a Carolinian for most of her life and worked in the corporate and educational industry for over 20 years. She is excited about the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives at Forrest Junior College. Rebecca aligns with FJC’s mission to provide students the opportunity and chance to succeed through personal involvement. She states, “I want to enrich other’s lives through a learning environment that cultivates sincere caring for others as their mantra. FJC epitomizes the nurturing many students need to accomplish their dreams in educational pursuits”.
Rebecca holds a Master in Science Management from Liberty University, a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Bellevue University and an Associate in Computer Science from Greenville Technical College. She has worked at universities, technical colleges, and private sector institutions. She will be using her strong skills in project management and operations, research analysis, instructional design and development, finance, and technology to move FJC forward in their academic and daily business operations.
She and her husband reside on the SC border near Lake Hartwell.
