Medical Assisting Program Performance Outcomes
Forrest College has program accreditation for its Medical Assisting Associate in Science Degree Program. The Associate in Science Degree Program in Medical Assisting is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB). One of MAERB’s Criteria is that the College publish Performance Outcome indices that are submitted each year to MAERB as part of its annual report. These outcomes are an average of performance over the most recent five-year period.
Student Retention Rate – Five Year Average –– 81%
Eighty-one percent of students who started the program completed the program.
Job Placement Rate – Five Year Average –– 71%
Seventy-one percent of the students who have graduated from the program are working in the Medical Assisting field or are continuing their education.
Employer Satisfaction – Five Year Average –– 100%
One hundred percent of employers surveyed were satisfied with the quality of work of our graduates.
